Key Note Speaker Dr. Karen Liu has been conducting green roof research for over 10 years at The National Research Council (NRC), British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Xero Flor. Dr. Liu is actively involved in technical committees for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and Single Ply Roofing Industry (SPRI).
The workshop will cover many aspects of Green Roofs including:
- Roofing Assemblies & Technology for Canadian Climates
- Meeting Design Challenges & Budgetary Constraints
- Stormwater Management, LEED Certification
- Wind Uplift & Fire Resistance, Warranty & Maintenance,
