German Solar Corporation (GSC) announces Solar Array facility
LONDON, Ontario - On January 20, 2010, German Solar Corporation
announced plans to locate a Branch office, assembly and distribution
facility in London, Ontario to promote the development of Solar Arrays in
Ontario. Their announcement represents a substantial initial capital
investment, with employment expected to exceed 20 associates when fully
operational early this year.
The 25,000 sq. ft. facility is
located on Robins Hill Road (a Dancor property) and will elevate GSC's
commitment to develop environmentally friendly Solar Arrays.
The German Solar Corporation is a renewable energy company focused
on delivering innovative Solar solutions to both commercial and residential
customers. The first phase of GSC's facility provides a base of operations
to provide Solar Array development to customer's with a desire to
participate in the provinces FIT program or to simply generate renewable
energy. They offer residential solar packages through their affiliate
companies from 1.8kWp to 10kWp and commercial and industrial customers with
rooftop solutions from 100kWp to 600kWp+. As a turnkey Solar Array
Solution Developer, they provide their customers with a variety of
services, including:
Feasibility
studies
Rooftop leasing program
FIT application
Relevant permitting approvals
Solar Equipment, with Domestic
content
Construction

German Solar
Corporation is already planning future expansions. Phase II, in
approximately 24 months, will see the addition of a 50,000 square foot
facility and the creation of another 40 jobs. This commitment will be an
additional investment of capital.
GSC is a strategic
partnership between German Energy Alternatives Inc., Kaco New Energy Group
and Deutshe Solargesellschaft (DSG).
DSG is a solar
development company with extensive experience in enhanced PV Solar array
technology. They are Europe's largest manufacturer of Solar Parks. They
are experts in the design and building of solar Arrays utilizing the
highest quality workmanship and quality control from the Fraunhofer
Institute. DSG constructed Solar parks in 2008 with an overall output of
6000 kWp.
German Energy Alternatives Inc. designed, built,
own and operates a 40kWp PV System in Kingston, Ontario - one of the
largest ground mounted tracking Solar arrays in Ontario. This project is
used as a demonstration site and for real time monitoring of solar power
production in Ontario since 2006.
Kaco New Energy Group is
the second largest PV inverter manufacturer worldwide with 12 offices
