Advanced Wire Die Limited was initially established in London, Ontario in 1947 to manufacture and service the needs of the Canadian wire drawing industry coast to coast. Since then, the company has become part of one of the largest organizations in the world producing these highly specialized tools.

Wire Dies, made from natural mined diamonds, synthetic diamond and tungsten carbide, are fabricated into drawing and extrusion tools for all the various producers of bare wire. These customer end products are many and varied and affect us all. Examples are: electrical cables, including automotive, power, telecommunication, data, building wire, nails, screws and fasteners, springs, light bulbs, all types of steel wire, gold and precious metals for the jewellery and chemical industries.
